The Excel tool: clear overview and monitoring

How to use the document template

Who is this contract register suitable for?
The template is suitable for limited companies, sole traders, boards of directors, real estate companies, housing cooperatives, non-profit organizations, and businesses that handle a growing number of supplier, service, premises, license, IT, or partnership agreements. It is particularly practical for smaller organizations that do not require a separate subscription to a contract management system.
Important about legal deadlines and automatic reminders
Excel does not send emails, SMS, calendar events, or push notifications. Monitoring is visible when the workbook is opened and calculated. There is no common calculation rule that works for all types of contracts. Timeframes in months, business days, and contract terms regarding receipt of termination require individual verification. A calculated date can therefore never be used as legal advice on its own.
The Act (2014:1449) on consumer protection in automatic contract renewal covers certain contracts between businesses and consumers, not general B2B contracts. This internal register template is not a system for fulfilling statutory written reminders to consumers.
When using personal data, the organization should consider data minimization, appropriate permissions, and relevant deletion routines. For larger contract values, legal disputes, and unclear terms, a qualified lawyer should be consulted.

How many contracts fit in the Excel template?
200 contract rows are prepared with formulas and control fields. This is a fixed capacity in this version.
Can the template terminate contracts or email reminders?
No. It shows internal monitoring dates and helps the responsible person act, but it sends no notifications.
Can I enter notice periods in months?
No general monthly calculation is included. Manually fill in the contract's verified final termination day and use the calculation's reminder function from that date.
Can I change the texts?
Yes. Word and Excel files are editable. The PDF files are searchable print and reference versions.
What does Swedish + English mean?
The main register and detailed guide are in Swedish. A separate English working reference is included and intended for use in Swedish operations. It is not a universal contract law version for other countries.
Which contracts can be entered?
For example, service agreements, supplier contracts, consultant agreements, IT/SaaS contracts, commercial lease agreements, and other recurring business contracts. Always check the specific terms of each individual contract.
