Project Dependencies & Dependency Register helps project managers and coordinators in Swedish private companies document what one activity needs from another, who is responsible, and when an internal delivery needs to be checked. You get editable Word templates, searchable print-ready PDFs, and an Excel register.

Scope: The package is for internal project management. It does not replace supplier agreements, external contract acceptance, government decisions, or security checks. The dependency map is a manually filled relationship table; Excel does not calculate the critical path or automatically detect circular dependencies.

When are the templates suitable?

Choose the package when multiple activities, teams, or projects need to coordinate materials, decisions, or deliveries. Each dependency gets a BER ID, a direction from activity to activity, the sending and receiving function, and the required date. Delivered and verified are tracked separately.

A project status report summarizes the situation. This package documents the relationships themselves and how they are checked, escalated, and changed. For external ordering, contractor inspection, or changes to binding agreements, materials adapted to that situation are required.

Excel with nine tabs

The workbook contains Overview, Dependencies, Milestones, Delivery Control, Actions, Decisions, Changes, Documents, and Read Me. Seven registers each have 200 prepared entries on rows 6–205, tables, and filters. Input and calculation cells are visually separated.

• Calculates positive date gaps in calendar days between planned delivery and internal required date, with checks for dates and supporting materials.
• Shows past internal required dates against a review date that you update manually.
• Checks, among other things, duplicate BER IDs, direction, date order, status, and document reference for the same dependency.
• Keeps delivered, verified, completed action, and documented decision separate.

An administrative control status does not prove technical quality or legal compliance. Always review the supporting materials and mandate yourself. Date gaps are not a legal delay or calculation of a penalty. More than 200 entries require that tables, formulas, data validation, and summaries be expanded and tested.

How to use the package

1. Define the project and prepare activity ID, responsible functions, schedule, and mandate.
2. Fill in the dependency plan and one dependency card per relationship. State criteria and how the control should be performed.
3. Register the same BER ID and document references in Excel. Manually check direction and any circular dependencies.
4. Document actual delivery, receipt, and verification separately. Use control receipts for supporting materials and deviations.
5. Escalate consequences to the correct decision-making function. Document the decision and implementation of the change separately.
6. Update the review date and perform the completion check before reporting and archiving.

Legal prerequisites and sources

For Swedish limited companies, the responsibilities of the board and CEO lie within their respective areas according to the Swedish Companies Act, Chapter 8, Sections 4 and 29. The package does not replace the company's delegation or authority check. A registered status does not give a person the mandate to make decisions.

When personal data is processed, the organization needs to assess, among other things, purpose, legal basis, data minimization, and security according to GDPR Articles 5, 6, and 32. Primarily use functions and document IDs. See the GDPR at IMY.

What is a project dependency?

Does Excel draw an automatic dependency map?

No. The dependency map is a manual relationship table. You need to assess network logic, circular dependencies, and the critical path yourself.

Can I use the receipts as the supplier's contract acceptance?

No. The receipts document internal events and controls. External contract acceptance and any right to compensation need to be assessed against the actual agreement.

Is a signature, witnesses, or registration required?

The package does not specify any general witness or registration requirement for internal follow-up. Document confirmations and decisions according to the company's mandate and routines. If the action is also a special legal act, its own requirements must be checked separately.

Are the PDF files fillable?

The PDF files are searchable print versions without interactive form fields. Edit the DOCX in a compatible word processing program or print the PDF and fill it in by hand.

What programs and languages are required?

You need programs that can edit DOCX and calculate XLSX, as well as a PDF reader. The work templates and Excel are in Swedish. A separate English guide is included. Layout and functionality may vary between programs; check your finished version before use.

Has the material been reviewed by an external lawyer?

No. Version 1.0 has undergone AI-assisted source control before production and review of the finished files, as well as functional testing. External legal review has not been performed.

What can I use the files for?

You may use the templates for their intended purpose according to the Mallbutiken Terms of Service. Copyright is not transferred through the purchase.
