Legal and technical alignment 2026/2027
The package refers to The National Board of Housing, Building and Planning's regulations BFS 2024:8 and guidance on moisture safety, including professional design, documentation, and moisture safety records where requirements apply. The new building regulations apply fully to new cases as of July 1, 2026; older cases may be affected by transitional rules. Requirements and exceptions must always be assessed based on the specific project.
Important: The template does not contain generally approved material moisture levels. Such criteria must be developed on a project-specific basis by a competent person. The product is not an expert certificate, a mandatory Planning and Building Act (PBL) inspection plan, or an authority-approved control. It is an original template; ByggaF is a voluntary industry method whose original forms are not included.
